20th Provincial Chapter. July 1914. Decree 1.st The Chapter decreed that an alumniate be established in Publin or in some other convenient place with the least possible delay and that the monies be returned by £400 on Pleasgow and £200 on Belfast be devoted to its maintenance. The Chapter changes the Provincial and his Consultors to compile a "directory for same. Decree 2.nd The Chapter decided that the Confraternity of the Passion should be established in those of our churches where it does not already exist, and that the books of rules be revised and reprinted. Missioners are reminded of their duty to teach the people to meditate on the Locked Passion; and the Catechist should not be content himself with the devont recitation of the ejaculations, but should also use them as a means of giving a short practical sentiment on the Passion. Decree 3.th In accordance with the directions of the General Chapter the Capitular Lakers instruct the Provincial, after consultation with the Peters, to make the necessary changes in the "ratio studionum" which should be submitted to the Most Rev. F. General for approval. Decree 4.th In view of recent civil legislation, the Provincial and his Consultors are charged to safeguard the legal security of our properties, especially in England, and to this end, they are advised to obtain, as soon as possible, the best legal advice. Decree 5.th The Capitular Lakers resolved that, considering the special circumstances of our Province, the actors voice should be asked for the Master of Movies for the next Provincial Chapter. Decree 6.th Questing outside the dioceses in which our houses are situated is fabiders unless the permission of the Ordinary be obtained.
