7/3/1613 Decrees of Pifih Provincial Chapter of the Anglo-Siberian Province of the Congregation of the Passion of our Lord Jesus. Christ under the title of St. Joseph held in the Retreat of St. Anne. Sutton from 15th to 17th June 1869. 3rd. Session Decrees. 1st. To call the attention of the Rectors and Superiors of Houses to former decrees on the subject of our Religious dining out of our houses, over the observance of these decrees they are enchored to watch with deligence. 2nd. The Chapter reminds all the Religious of this Province of the great necessity of circumspection in treating with seculars and according to the tenor of our Holy Rules. "especially with females". Confessors are enchored to abstain from making appointments in the confessional or meeting penitents after they leave the tribunal of Penance, unless some urgent business justifies a deviation from this Rule of Prudence. 3rd. The Priests of this Province are recommended in instructing females converts to avail themselves when possible of the services of some female capable of fulfilling this office, where this cannot be done let them give instruction in the place and at the hour appointed by the Superior. 4th. The necessity for dispensation from the accustomed probation of our young Priests before hearing confessions indiscriminately having now in great part ceased. the newly ordained priests shall henceforth wait the accustomed to
