J.M. J.F. October 2nd 1925. My dear Father Joseph. I have asked V. Rev. Father Peter, our late Provincial, to represent the Province at your Jubilee Celebrations, and to offer you our united congratulations and prayers on the happy occasion. I regret very much, need I say it, that I cannot be with you in person, to share in your joy and to join in thanking God for the graces showered on you for the past fifty years. You will, however, accept my sincerest wishes for much happiness and great spiritual consolation. I shall certainly say Holy Mass for your Intentions, and I shall pray God to give you, not merely greater length of days, but to make the evening of life peaceful and calm, the harbinger of a glorious Day that shall never know a night.
