Enclosure J. P. CARRIGAN, Solicitor. 2022-11-04/433 THURLES, CO. TIPPERARY. 29th. September, 1927 Dear Father Gerrard, I received your letter of the 26th. inst., with enclosure, which I herewith return. It clearly specifies the intention both of your Abbot and Monsignor Ryan, but this copy is not signed by either of them. I am writing him to-day stating that I have heard from you, and that the Abbot of Maredsous is very disappointed that the transfer of the place has not yet been completed, and asking him to have the matter finished before he leaves the Country. I shall let you know when I get a reply from him. When we visited Glenstall on the 10th. August I asked him to supply me with the necessary title to enable me to prepare the transfer from him to your Community. He said he would do so, but from that day to this, I have never heard a word of the matter from him. Yours Sincerely, Telmut Carrigan Rev. Gerard Francois, Glenstall Priory, Murroe, CO. LIMERICK.
