Held in St. Paul's Rebeat Dublin July 1890 7/3/13/2 In accordance with the circular letter of the V. R. Is recent of the Lacred Heart of Jesus Provincial, dated 24th April 1890 and issued to all the superiors of the Province, the Capitular Jathers assembled in St. Paul's Rebeat Dublin on the 3rd July 1890 to assist at the Indum in preparation for the chapter, summoned for the 6th of July. First Meeting. At 9 O'block on the morning of the 3rd July was held the first preliminary meeting, the V. R. M. Thomas of the B. V. M. presiding and all the Capitular Jathers being present. After invoking the assistance of the St. Spirit the letter of delegation from the most Rev. Jr. General, appointing the V. R. Jathers Thomas of the B. V. M. President of the Chapter, was read. The Rector & the lighter superiors then handed in their pagellas and seals of office which the V. R. Is Mary of Jesus Criscifer was appointed secretary to the preliminary conferences. The Arrentories of the Rebeats, the certificates of the due celebration of the masses and of the keeping of the Archives having been presented, the V. R. M. Dominic Gerard and Authory were appointed to examine them, as also the financial condition of the Rebeats. Afterwards the assembled Jathers, each in turn, commencing with the V. R. President, proposed those matters which were to form the subject of subsequent deliberations. The meeting closed at 11-46, A. M. Second conference. The Jathers assembled in the Chapter Room at 4. P. M. when further matters regarding the regular observance and discipline were submitted to their consideration. The meeting closed at 6-30 P. M. with the usual prayers.
