T. For the better administration in our houses, this Chapter decrees that henceforth each Rector or Superior having the temporal administration of our Houses or Retreats do keep in addition to our usual administration books a ledger or book in which shall be registered all debts, and in which particular and separate accounts shall be kept for tradesmen and others in such a manner that by posting these into a balance sheet, it can be known with little trouble and perfect certainty the exact amount of debts rising by each Retreat. It was also decreed that the Provincial should distinc some priest to make a full registry of all deeds, wills and other documents, affecting the temporal interests of our province. II. The Chapter decreed that each and every Retreat in this Province (Sutton & Broadway Retreats excepted) do say to the Rector of St. Davis

Dublin, for its support £50 per annum, to be paid quarterly. III. This Venerable Chapter finds in the Decrees of former Chapters all that is necessary for the correction and prevention of aluses, and if diligently observed, all that is required for the good of the Province in general and the Religious in particular. Instead therefore of making new Decrees they direct that a summary of the most important already made be formed, and read in the choir at least once every three months and more frequently if the Dector thinks fit.
