2023-04-05/500 MEDICAL MISSIONARIES OF MARY PHONE: DROGHEDA 140. OUR LADY OF LOURDES HOSPITAL, DROGHEDA, CO. LOUTH. -3- we can all say 'Deo Gratias' together when we look back, with gratitude, to our time of formation in Glenstal Priory. Perhaps in the Summer I may be able to get down and see all your progress but this year my health would not allow me and the work is very strenuous. Yes, Miss Ryder is a great soul. She is one of those hidden people sustained by God and there are few who would have borne their cross as she did. Mother, Thank God is keeping well, also Ethel. Desmond has not been so well lately and I hope he will soon be himself again. He would need to take things easy now these hard months are here. The war has made his life and work very difficult for one in such a delicate state of health but then life cannot be easy in this world. Remember me to Father Prior and all the monks and assuring them of our devoted prayers of gratitude. Yours very sincerely in Jesus and Mary, S. Mary Martin.
