Copy of Memo. in the Archives of Abbotstown Hospice. The following points are respectfully submitted to the Right Rev. J.W. Shanahan, Bishop of Harrisburg, on behalf of the Superiors of the Franciscan Capuchin Fathers of the Irish Province, embodying the terms of agreement on which the Fathers of the aforesaid Province shall assume Pastoral charge and perpetual administration of Paradise Parish and the Mission attached thereto. 1. The Limits of Parish and Missions here to be specified. etc. 2. That Jus Usus fructus of Paradise Rectory " Church " Cemetery Spring Grove Mission, and the two acres of land adjoining Rectory at Paradise be granted to the Fathers of the Irish Province of the Franciscan Capuchin Order in perpetuity. 3. That the Fathers while holding the aforesaid right (vide 2.) be responsible for the present indebtedness (vis. # 5875 or thereabouts) on Paradise Rectory. 4. That the Annual Remuneration for Chaplaincy to Paradise Protectory --- such Chaplaincy to be served by the Fathers --- be Five hundred Dollars 5. That the Protectory Farm supply and deliver each year free of charge Feed for one horse. 6. That any Church to be hereafter built or established within the limits of the aforesaid Parish and Mission be subject to the like administration of the aforesaid Fathers, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon.
