Both the Music Words of this Hymn were engraved by the Emperor D. Pedro, at the times of the expulsion of that stagnant troop from Brazil in the beginning of the year 1822. It has proudly taped for me by a milletto Padro, who is also organish of the Matriz or Cathedral of S. José in the Minas Genes, when I visited it in 1828.
