2023-10-24/852 17th February 1954 Dear Mother Ignatius, I have made enquiries about the possibility of a foundation of your Order in Limerick diocese, but was informed on very good authority that there was no opening for a foundation of this nature in the diocese, as that type of work is already being carried out by the Sisters of Mercy. If you like , I could send an enquiry to His Grace the Archbishop of Dublin, but before doing so, I should like to be able to say whether you have the financial means to support such a foundation yourself. This would have an important bearing on the whole matter.
