Sept 4, 1889 Dear Sirs I understood from Mr Marpes that you were not unwilling to be relieved from the trouble and responsibility of taking change of "The Greg News" specially as the publication of the cheap and popular edition would hardly come within your lines of business. We have therefore thought it better to put the book in the hands of a regular publisher whose arrangements include the machinery necessary for the working McCarthy 7/6 37 of the popular edition. Mr Marpes Mrs Campbell had and I cannot repress too sweetly our sense of the thinders we have met at your hands and of the immense advantage it has been to us that our garten price should start from such an art-pallary as yours.
