The Hotel. Remenston Depon M. S. A. Feb. 24th '10 Dear J. Provincial Since I wrote you last we have had a varied experience. We have been with the Semits at their Mission and surveyed our location last on Sunday of last week we left B. City with Bishop and remained Natight at Pendleton - Semit Mission. On Wednesday we came along here with him and visited the two chief locations he wants us to take returning Pendleton Natight. On Thursday we went with him on a visit to Lockhire Christie - Portland. We varied net such a charming man. His welcome could not be more cordial and he takes a more practical interest than B. O'Riell in our settlement here of such were possible. He brought us to the Neat Office of Railing Co. & obtained for us free passes all over their line of R.I. as we can travel about as much as we like free of cost. North Eastern Depon. I said Mass here on Sunday & we had reviewed them on Monday morning we set out off to Bend. We did for a few as Sharies - the and of R.I. line. We were more hospitally entertained by the officials of Company on Monday & Tuesday nights. The Road are too bad to make the trip 9.5 miles by coach as Native and be back for Sanday next. next. Sunday I begin Mission Catholical Baker City - In. Luke remains here & says Mass here & Amatilla coming on to B. C. Nat Love. He finishes mission following Sunday when I begin in Portland where I am finished by In. Luke, so you are we are not westing much time. Hope next week to write a report on Mission & send it on.
