Bishop's Residence Baker City, Oregon March 15. 1910 My Dear Father I received your letter dated this w expressing consistently for information. You will probably have received our first instalburned by this time but I fear you will not be altogether pleased with their confined story. Shows is just away in Portland after finishing a Retreat & I am expecting but book with full credential & for country Crook Co. Shere are seven million and both others. Catholics running the railroad or perhaps better making the railroad & they have been very kind to us in our attempt to get those, paying our hotel expenses & finishing as a letter joint trade action for along the route. I trust they will repeat their kindness this time. The Bishop has not been at all well lately so he has gone away for a fortnight with the hop that the charge I am & excesses may emprove him. We are having summer heat here at present as I don't know what it will be like when the summer actually occurs. The night & morning are homewear guts cool as that we can always get on a great sleep. I am enjoyingly looking forward to cook. We will then be able to finish our explorations. It will take at least a fortnight or three weeks to get any real information. It will of course be a little best in my companies but for state destruction retreatment. At present I am looking after a battery of what is extended to our future messing. At the not very pleasant for the month or three in church & no hours. Setting the hotel. My room - small & by no means the place where you can retire & find a little guest. The smoke room the only place where on convention - just a public hall where all speculations are sent in the little fits to hospitality of the old country. in a good year there meeting entirely you are an adisposed to have something story & seen that is not very abundantly offered. Con Old Below & not as slow as they say. I am now waiting here since I can then all my life in before. Hours are smoothing up & down sledge off the back, late & 5 hours & not as frequently 12 & 18 hours. One they & certain they are never up to the wearing you all the pays shelowing.
