L. D + M. J. G. Mathew Hall Church St. Dublin 14t. January '04 My dear Br. Seran I am deeply grateful for your kind letter containing promise to help with Irish matter for "Revolt" we want some Irish very badly and, despite many efforts, we had so far failed to secure any help in that direction. By same post as your Gr. Patrick wrote from Lochestown promising to do some sermon matter each month. Your contributions with his will be a splendid feature for the future. You can write on any subject you like, and we shall rely entirely on your own good judgment. If you think some simple lessons in the Irish language would be popular, you may of course do them; but you are the best judge of what is best. I presume you will have something ready for Morch issue — we go to "press" on the 12th of the previous month previous to issue. With remarkable best thanks fall good weeks your My dear Br. Seran yours very faithfully in Gr. Patrick
