Besides the Bend paper I sent you, I am forwarding you all that appeared so far in the American papers. I enclose a copy of the talk I gave at the obsequies. As I informed you already I put Fr. Vincent in charge temporarily till I heard from you. He has done well, I understand since he left Hermiston, and will I feel confident satisfy until the Chapter. Thanks for letting me off the Visitations. Thomas, Adrian and I are arranging to travel by the S.S. Georgic sailing July 10. Of course this is sub rosa till the Chapter is announced. I have just finished a little mission here in Roseburg, which is the only one I will give this Lent. All your care here in the States are well, as far as I know.
