+ Franciscan Capuchin Priary Fort Gragg, California, June 30th - 28, Dear Father Joseph, I read you the following, as requested, for the Coming Chapter:- 1. Average monthly receipts = $ 722. Average monthly expenses = $ 603. There is no debt proper on this Parish, though the following yearly Taxes & Measurements constitute an equident:- 1. City Measurement = $ 78 - 66 a year2. County Taxes = $ 22 - 42 a year3. Cottage Taxes = $ 21 - 00 " "4. Orphans Measurement = $ 12 - 00 " "5. Seminariums " " = $ 21 - 00 " "4. On November 1st, -1926, when I took charge here, I received from Father Pacificus 49 Masses to be said, & since that time to the present date I said 489 Masses.5. There are on hands 65 Masses to be said.6. There are about 60 Catholic Families in this Parish, & about 120 Catholic Children I wish you & all the Grates a very pleasant time during the Coming Chapter, I Dewain, Yours in Xth St. Ft. J.
