Biocese of Monterey-Fresno 2820 Mariposa Street Fresno, California, Oct. 3. '35. Dear Fr. Thomas:— May I assure you again of my entire satisfaction concerning the retreats. I am still getting the whole & thank God, they are all the sand. All sum manious in the opinion that it was the last retreat in years, a real retreat, a practical retreat, both in matter & in manner its. I feel the priests have been doing some real thinking & we shall, in time, reap golden fruits. The Danitification of the Bishop & of the priests must be the foundation. Without it we build in win. The Eon & geal for summer & Enkewarm could must flow from that fountain. Today we celebrate the first of our patroners, Dr. Thureal. In gratitude for your own prayers in our shelf, we shall also remember your needs in our pen prayers. Leading found gretuidy to you & the Community. I am Yours very gratefully in Christ & Philip B.
