Hermiston. Having decided to accept the missions in the disceal of Bahar city the next step was to decide a location on which to build. After surveying the district carefully and after much solution deliberation the choice fell on a secluded spot about a mile or so outside the town of Hermiston. The reason for this choice, according to rumour, was because of a round affair about four feet high built three for irrigation purposes. The combinatori house and church were to be so built that when the poor home sick friars arose each the morning this concrete water pipe would remind them of the Round Lowers of Ireland. A hindly thought, for no doubt one not yet fully awake may in a wild flight of the imagination picture to in his weary soul those historic monuments of the old country as he gazed in disgust at that could unsightly American construction! But to their shame it must be said there came with time a change and young men of the hard-boiled type, lucking in the finer sentiments of their sins. These ironaclasts at a cost of about $5,000 moved the little friary of "our Lady of Angels" from its original site to its present location which is an easy distance from the town!
