His mother on his rehalf has applied to the Arch Mishop for permission for him to prepare at glens tal for a scholarship or sugarship in Trinity College with a view to taking a degree there in Geology and Geography. "This is a virtual demand for a Catholic student to prepare for Trinity College at glens tal School." I am to explain to you that in view of the very special circumstances of this particular case and because of the recommendation of his parish priest (the Mishop of Thessas), this grace the Arch Mishop grants permission and

will tolerate his attendance at Trinity College with the usual rafeguards which the Arch Miss Says does for such Catholics viz: - "Avaidance of Sacrifice which endanours to propagate ideas contrary to Catholic Saith and Morals, special study of Catholic Sacrifice commensurate with the problems likely to be met with and particularly in the Social line, particular application to the fulfilment of religious antics and avaidance of the company of Pratestants and other nar. Catholics as much as is possible."
