FUNERAL OF MISS MARY B. PEARSE The President, Tabiseach and members of the Government were among those who attended the funeral of Miss Mary Brigid Pearse, which took place to Glasnevin Cemetery on Saturday, after Mass in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Mallin, S.J., son of the executed 1916 leader, and a former pupil of St. Enda's. The coffin was borne by former students of St. Enda's, assisted by all the young relatives of the late Mrs. Pearse. Chief mourners: - Senator Miss Margaret Pearse (sister), Mrs. M. McGloughlin and Mrs. W. Scarlett (nieces). Messrs. J., M., A., F., P., and J. McGloughlin, and Liam Scarlett (grand-nephews); Misses P. Scarlett and C. McGloughlin (grand-nieces), Miss M. Brady, Mrs. McGarvey and Kate O'Donnell. The Absolution in the church was given by Very Rev. Canon McGuirk, P.P., assisted by Rev. P. Donohue, C.C.; Rev. J. Alston, C.C., and Rev. P. Tuohy, Chaplain, Mercy Convent. The Benedictus was recited at the graveside by the Rev. Chaplain of Glasnevin Cemetery, assisted by the other clergy present. Clergy present were: V. Rev. H.
