Pax N° 641/47 Rome, S. Anselm; Nov. 18, 1947. Reverend and dear Father Prior, Thank you very much indeed for your kind letter of October 10. Many thanks for your filial con- gratulation. Please help me with your prayer to do the work which God has gi- ven me: Dei fretus adiutorio me spero cuncta adimpleturum! Thanks God that our Order is taking firm roots in the old Irish soil. It will be a great pleasure to me to see once you and your Irish monastery. And I am very glad to know that several of the Abbots on their return from Rome paid you a visit. Rev. D. Placid feels quite home again. With my best wishes believe me, Reverend Father Prior, Yours fraternally in St. Benedict + Sermond T Rulin About Primate 2023-10-09/818
