FINANCIAL STATEMENT —OF— St. Francis of Assisi Church Los Angeles, California January, 1930 SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH Los Angeles, California My Dear Parishioners: I beg to submit, herewith, the Financial Statement of Receipts and Expenditures of our Parish, for the year just closed. In the main, it is satisfactory and encouraging, and the year seems to be one of the most successful financially since the establishment of the Parish. I gratefully acknowledge and appreciate the practical faith and devotion manifested by the people in the Improvement Fund Offerings. I commend very highly the regular use of the Sunday Envelope by many good families in the Parish, by many, however, its use has been absolutely disregarded. It is the easiest means, even for the poorest in the Parish to help the Church. I strongly urge its general use during 1930. The activities of our Parish Societies are most gratifying, and the Easter and Christmas Communions have been numerous and edifying. Again I wish to thank all who contributed to the success of the financial year. Devotedly yours in Christ and St. Francis, FATHER JOSEPH FENELON, O. M. CAP. Pastor.
