Provincial and first Pastor of the Foundation The Pavish was founded by Mrs. Grace Most Rev. E. J. Panna Archbishop of San Francisco on November 19th 1926 in session with Mr. Council - Dr. Thomas (Darling) being nominated Pastor. On December 1st 1926 the Archbishop formally handed over by letter the Pavish to the Order, and a canonical Foundation of the Order was made from Rome Property was purchased in Cortez Avenue Lets 4.5. 6. 7. 8. 9. and 10. On these lots stood a small Prolestant light Hall and two residences. The purchase price was $35,00000. The light Hall was converted into a church at once and after some months was entitled to double its original capacity. One of the residences was converted into Parochial School. The sum of $12,00000 was expended in making these changes and in requisite additions. The Father took up residence in the other house. On March 1st 1929 - additional lots No 1.2 + 3 in block 41 was purchased. On those 3 lots stood two residences. These the total cost of the purchase price was $22,00000. The announced property amounted to $5,00000. Attached to the Pavish are two Pluriship leatheric associations - the beapussing blub for men and our Lady of Angels light for women. In the near future it is proposed to hold a general mission for the Pavish when the 3rd Order and other Religious organizations peaculize to our Order will be established. The generosity of the people is well forward by the fact that in the space of two years and five months they have enabled the Father to expend $120,00000 in improvements and to leasen the debt by a further sum of $120,00000. The debt is now standing at $45,00000. Of this $26,00000 is held by the Archbishop's Office at the rate of interest 5-1/2 per cent and $19,00000 is held by American Trust. Co. prevented by Archbishop's at rate of 6 per cent.
