In the first place it would be difficult for us, at the moment to deprive our selves of his services; and besides was ordained friend in June 1939. The Occlaration of the English Bishops concerning the advisability for chaplains to have four or five years of priorities would only confirm the inapportuneness of the engagement. However the need for Catholic Chaplains in the have became argued. I do not doubt but that the Abbot would give his consent to any sacrifice for the common goods unnecessary in these circumstances.
