FRANCISCAN CAPUCHIN PRIARY, CHURCH STREET, DUBLIN. Tuesday, December 2nd 1924. Dear Father Joseph, Herewith I enclose the Rescript of the Congregation of the Council given at the request of the Righr Rev. Bishop Cantwell re San Inez. Kindly hand it to him with my best respects and compliments, etc. I enclose also copies of same, and of other Rescripts for the Foundation, for your Archives. All is now complete, and I hope the Old Mission will bring us a blessing from St. Francis. I have just got the Catalogues from Fr. Leo re St. Anthony's College, and they seem to be well brought out; but I am waiting anxiously to learn from you what you found on the spot, and if the boys are there, etc. I wrote Fr. Bernard to encourage him in his project for School at Roseburg. It is of great importance for the coming year. I have yet to wait for news of Fr. Luke's project and Fr. Casimir's House at the Church. Perhaps Xmas may bring all the good news, and more progress as your kind letters indicate. Yor school and the work of the good Sisters of Notre Dame is very consoling. I have written to Cardinal O'Connell at the suggestion of Archbishop Hanna, to ask for a place in his Archdiocese, where we might hope to get Vocations for our College. If it does nothing else, it may block English influence in that quarter. "Videremo". Trusting you are all well over, and glad you have the sunshine, which I miss since my return, and wishing the blessings of Xmas to all, I remain, Fraternally yours, H. Peter of Pullaroan Min. Prov.
