Christian Brothers, Our Lady's Mount, Cork. Αν Μακιήτη Τσαιό, Δην Ναού-Μυήν, Copcaiş. 7th July 1936. 2023-06-14 / 670 Rev. and Dear Father, Re your enquiry about Patrick O'Mahony Glengarriff Road, Bantry, a pupil of our Schools here, I have pleasure in recommending him as an excellent boy, amiable, gentle, studious and pious. He has been most exemplary and gives general satisfaction. He passed the Intermediate Certificate Examination in 1935, was this year in the First Year for the Leaving Certificate examination which will be held in 1937. He was good enough to have been placed in the Honours Class. The Brother in charge says he should have no difficulty in passing Matriculation. Living so far away we know nothing of his family. We have no doubt he will make an excellent priest and he has already received a recommendation for that purpose. Yours very sincerely in J.C. D.B. Hoston (Superior)
