MAYO. 7. 9. 32 2023-06-05/605 Dear Father I wrote to Dr Arnigo some time ago telling him of my visit to Glenstal and of my desire to join the Benedictines and yesterday I had a very cordial reply from him. He said that he thought it much better that I should make no change until after ordernation and that there would be no difficulty about my joining the Benedictines then if I still desired it. I am afraid that he may press me to go back to Rome for a year after ordernation to fund the theology course but I think it is probably better not to raise this question at present. I am to see the Bishop on my way back to Rome and discuss the question fully with him.I hope Nicholas is getting on well at Glenstal.With best wishes to yourself and to all the fathers Yours sincerely Brian Dillon
