I thank you for your letter of the 4th inst., re the above. At this stage I would require to discuss the matter of heating with a firm of Consulting Engineers. As you may know these people design a heating scheme and tenders are invited from heating contractors. The firm of Consultants who usually do my heating schemes are J. Varming & Partners, 19, Merrion Square, Dublin, a dutch firm with an Irish partner in Mr. S. Mulcapy, son of the present Minister for Education. For your own information I enclose copy of their scale of fees. I should be obliged if you would confirm that I may employ them or any other firm you may desire. Very sincerely yours, J. C.
