PETER OF TULLAROAN, Minister Provincial of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchins of St. Francis in Ireland, To our beloved Brother in the Lord, FATHER JOSEPH FENELON OF GARRYHILL, of the same Order and Province, Priest, By virtue of these present letters you are hereby appointed Superior and Overseer of the Houses, Churches and property in the United States of America belonging to the Irish Province of Friars Minor Capuchins. You are hereby commissioned to act in our name, and by our authority, in all matters pertaining to the religious and civil administration of the aforesaid property and possessions already acquired and to be acquired in the United States of America by the aforesaid Friars Minor Capuchins of Ireland. In testimony of which witness our signature and the Seal of the Irish Province of Friars Minor Capuchins of St. Francis affixed.
